Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nursing and care colleagues to deliver high-quality care and services.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
- Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks within the care home.
- Ensure that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner.
- Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, with responsibility for the oversight, review, and update of their care profiles.
- Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements:
- First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.
- Post-registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care.
- An enthusiastic approach to encouraging and motivating people.
- The ability to work confidently on your own initiative.
- A good standard of digital skills.
