Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Project Management to join our Operations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the way in electric vehicle charging, managing multiple projects at various stages, and ensuring that our customers receive their Pod Point units on time, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Forecasting and Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain accurate project forecasts and pipeline management to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects at various stages, coordinating with regional and central teams for efficient labor organization.
  • Programme of Works: Create and align programme of works to ensure continuity with customer requirements.
  • Cost Management: Capture variations and ensure project cost vs budget is reported.
  • Operations and Maintenance Manuals: Create O&M Manuals to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of Pod Point units.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with site owners and stakeholders to ensure delivery meets high standards and achieves desired outcomes.
  • Health, Safety, and Quality: Foster a culture of Health, Safety, and Quality; manage project-related Health & Safety aspects.
  • Health and Safety File Coordination: Coordinate H&S files, including creation of RAMS and CPP.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate our performance against key KPIs and constantly seek to improve our performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience of managing EV installations, Contract Management, or Project Management roles.
  • Qualifications: Electrical qualifications - City & Guilds level 3 in electrical installation and 17th/18th edition.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Electrical Building Services installations.
  • Skills: Excellent communicator, ability to lead and demonstrate best practices, analytical skills, and keen focus on Health and Safety.
