Job Title: Placement Civil Construction Engineer

About the Role:

Farrans (Construction) Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Placement Civil Construction Engineer to join our team. As a Placement Civil Construction Engineer, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading construction company known for its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site surveys and set-out to ensure accurate measurements and layouts.
  2. Prepare detailed drawings and calculations to ensure quality control and compliance with engineering specifications.
  3. Monitor construction progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to project deadlines.
  4. Liaise with clients and conduct site investigations to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  5. Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  6. Liaise with quantity surveyors to ensure accurate material ordering and pricing.
  7. Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and sustainability guidelines.

Requirements:

  1. Currently studying a Civil or Construction/Project Management degree.
  2. Hold a full UK driving license.
  3. Passionate about starting a career in the civils industry.
  4. High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Demonstrate a strong interest in engineering and a desire for a dynamic work environment.
  6. Excellent communication skills and ability to work flexibly in a team.
