Job Opportunity: SEND Specialist Tutor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Specialist Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Sidmouth area.

About the Role

We are looking for a tutor who can create and deliver tailored lesson plans to bridge gaps in students' education and boost their attainment levels. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEN and be able to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-to-one tuition to students with SEN
  • Create and implement tailored lesson plans to meet individual students' needs
  • Monitor and track students' progress and provide regular reports to Prospero Teaching
  • Work collaboratively with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
