Financial Operations Manager

Mission:

As a pivotal Finance Business Partner, you will oversee all financial activities related to the RTC (Residential Temperature Controls) sector. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with production, operations, and finance teams to deliver precise and timely insights into business performance.

Location: United Kingdom

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and sustain the cost accounting framework, including participation in the creation of cost estimates for new products.
  • Manage the annual standard cost development process.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze production costs and variances.
  • Enhance internal reporting mechanisms (reports/KPIs) to support the business, offering greater visibility on cost drivers and tracking cost reduction initiatives.
  • Assist plant operations teams in identifying, implementing, and monitoring productivity enhancement projects.
  • Oversee the capital investment process and conduct appraisals prior to management approval.
  • Support the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
  • Provide assistance to the finance team on various topics and projects as needed.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capacity to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
Education:
  • Preferred: CIMA/ACCA Qualified or part-qualified, Business/Finance degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant field.
