XPO Transport Solutions UK Limited is seeking a skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation operations.

• Coordinate transportation operations to meet customer and company expectations
• React and adapt to changing customer demands in a dynamic environment
• Ensure effective use of transportation planning systems and adopt best practices
• Recognize and support team members to achieve business and personal goals
• Continuously improve service quality by identifying opportunities for improvement
• Proactively prevent accidents and reduce hazards by ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety standards
• Liaise with line management to optimize the use of hire vehicles and subcontractors
• Ensure drivers comply with working time directive regulations and investigate accidents/incidents in a timely manner

• Good understanding of fast-paced transportation teams
• Experience working in a transportation environment
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of UK geography
• Awareness of large goods vehicles and trailer combination equipment types
• Experience in a challenging customer service environment
• Good understanding of Microsoft packages, including Excel and Outlook
