About the Role:

Donard Recruitment is seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Assessor to join our team. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in providing unbiased and comprehensive assessments for individuals claiming disability benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct face-to-face and virtual assessments to evaluate an individual's health conditions and disabilities.
  2. Manage caseloads from end to end, including delivering assessments, reviewing reports, and requesting further evidence.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of an individual's needs.
  4. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Government's disability allowance (PIP) and its requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic with valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical information.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
