Optical Assistant Job Opportunity
**Job Summary**
Network Open is seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to support our optometrist team in Gloucester and surrounding areas. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support in care homes and patients' own homes.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Support the optometrist in carrying out full dispense visits to care homes and patients' homes
* Carry out fittings and aftercare, working independently on some days
* Develop a sympathetic approach and empathy when interacting with elderly patients, some of whom may be unwell
* Cover a radius of up to 50 miles from your home postcode, requiring a confident driving ability and a full driving licence for at least 2 years
