Physical Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Health Nurse to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Physical Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical health needs of our patients are met.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement physical healthcare plans to promote optimal patient well-being.
- Facilitate and support staff in delivering routine and ad hoc tests, ensuring accurate recording of results.
- Lead the development and review of care plans for physical health, ensuring clear interventions and patient needs are met.
- Ensure patients receive prescribed ECGs and evidence is documented.
- Lead education and training on nasogastric tube feeding, smoking cessation, and other physical health topics.
- Attend ICR meetings and contribute to physical healthcare plan development and review.
- Chair the Hospitals healthy living group, promoting physical well-being topics.
- Provide professional advice, education, and support on infection control.
- Undertake audits and facilitate educational workshops on physical healthcare best practices.
- Support immunization and offer healthcare/health promotion across various conditions.
- Hold a full and valid NMC registration.
- Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.
- Experience in NG feeding and phlebotomy.
- Experience of training others.
- Understanding of eating disorders and mental health.
- Annual salary of £38,000.
- £3,000 welcome bonus.
- Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (some occasional weekend working may be required).
