HR Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our team at New Appointments Group. As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance on employment law, HR policies, and procedures to employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievances, and sickness absence management.
  • Provide up-to-date advice on employment law and HR policies to employees and managers.
  • Handle the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Manage and update in-house systems, including sickness absence, holiday, contracts, and employee changes.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with staff, managers, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent desirable.
  • Experience in a HR work environment with excellent knowledge of employment law and HR policies.
  • Confidentiality of company information to be adhered to at all times.
  • Excellent communication and administration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good ethical judgment.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
  • 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.
