About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team at Henderson Scott. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Java-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot and JEE containers.
  • Work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of our applications.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of commercial experience in Java development.
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, JEE containers, and AWS.
  • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and Angular/React is highly beneficial.
  • eDV clearance is required for this role.
