CyberClan Incident Response Coordinator Job Description

CyberClan is a leading cybersecurity company that provides incident response services to the insurance and legal markets, as well as commercial companies. We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Response Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Orchestrate a proactive and efficient response to security incidents, safeguarding the organization's assets, reputation, and operations to minimize impact and restore normal operations swiftly.
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including the client, legal counsel, the insurance company, and applicable third-party suppliers.
  • Oversee the proper collection, documentation, and preservation of evidence during incident response activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as IT, legal, communications, and external parties, to ensure effective incident response and post-incident analysis.
  • Provide information related to incident costs and billing terms to support financial reporting and insurance claims.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including project plans, resource allocation, risk management, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven experience in network administration and cybersecurity, with certifications such as A+, Network+, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC highly favorable.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications desired.
