The University of Manchester is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Senior Lecturer to support the development and delivery of the Clinical Competence Assessment (CCA) across the 5-year Manchester MB ChB programme.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Year Teaching & Learning Academic Leads to ensure alignment between assessment and curriculum, and will be responsible for designing, delivering, and quality-assuring the CCA.
The Manchester MB ChB programme is a successful and innovative undergraduate medical programme that delivers a blended teaching and learning approach based on adult learning principles. The programme emphasizes experiential learning, subject integration, and reflective practice, and has a strong focus on small group problem-based learning and early clinical experience.
The post-holder will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of academics and clinicians to develop and deliver high-quality educational experiences for students, and will be expected to contribute to the development of the programme's curriculum and assessment strategy.
