Quality Assurance Manager for a Premier Materials Manufacturer

Location: Lancashire

Are you equipped with a background in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, coupled with a strong enthusiasm for transformation and project oversight? Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (with flexible start and finish times)

Compensation:
£45,000 - £55,000 (commensurate with skills and experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that product quality at every stage, from raw materials to final output, adheres to all applicable standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within Production, Research & Development, and Quality Control.
  • Maintain ISO 9001 accreditation by ensuring compliance through audits and implementing new methodologies and processes to enhance quality.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and training to members of the Quality Control laboratory team.

Qualifications:
Extensive expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.


Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in Quality Management Systems (Corrective and Preventive Actions, Non-Conformance Reports, Root Cause Analysis, internal auditing) within the framework of ISO 9001.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
