Key Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in implementing patient care plans, adhering to NICE guidelines and best practices.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients, their families, and carers.
- Conduct regular patient assessments, monitoring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Support patients during meal times, assist with feeding methods, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Perform clinical tasks with expertise, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Ensure patient safety, reporting any concerns or incidents promptly.
- Understand and apply safeguarding principles, maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient autonomy.

Person Specification
We are seeking an individual with:
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of patient safety and confidentiality.
- Able to maintain professional boundaries, respecting patient autonomy and dignity.
- Experience with MS Office systems and IT-based patient record systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Awareness of NICE guidelines and best practices.
- Competence in undertaking basic physical observations and personal care.
- Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in an inpatient environment.
- Awareness and commitment to equality and diversity, with a strong understanding of safeguarding principles.
- Knowledge of MHA & MCA, with the ability to apply these principles in practice.
