Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Construction Recruitment People Ltd. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing residential construction projects from pre-construction to final account.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage residential construction projects, including new build residential schemes and multi-storey apartment blocks
- Work closely with the construction director and commercial team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT contracts
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
