Regional Facilities Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable property managing agent who are looking to add a Regional Facilities Manager to their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of high-quality facilities management services for the benefit of clients and occupiers across a portfolio of industrial assets across the East Midlands.
- Recruit and train staff while maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for customers through the monitoring of Health & Safety systems and the promotion of best practice throughout all tasks.
- Manage risk and contractor services, ensuring full compliance with building statutory requirements through regular inspections and audits.
- Engage with involved and "hands-on" landlords through regular meetings.
- Have prior experience working for another property consultancy/managing agent and have ideally mentored more junior staff.
Essential Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements, including Health and Safety. NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications or commitment to the same is essential.
- Prepare each site for risk assessment, maintaining a high target compliance rating.
- Ensure that a full set of risk assessments is held at each property and action plans are implemented, diligently and competently at all times.
- Complete monthly checklists and upload them to the relevant system within the appropriate time scales.
- Act as a mentor to directly employed on-site staff and ensure their development and progression is managed to allow them the best chance of success.
- Record utility consumption at all sites and update the relevant system accordingly.
- Ensure high site standards, in respect of cleaning, repair, and presentation, are achieved and maintained at all times, within property budgets.
- Visit each tenant on a monthly basis or as often as the management contract dictates and report any issues to the appointed Management Surveyor.
- Develop a close working relationship with tenant representatives and manage tenant satisfaction and relationships.
- Inspect all properties on a frequency specified by the Management Surveyor, multi-lets should be visited at least once a month, although site conditions may dictate a higher frequency.
- Evaluate existing contractual relationships and ensure that the service provided by contractors is in line with the agreed specification.
- Assist the Management Surveyor with the preparation, management, and reconciliation of service charge budgets.
