Associate Director of Town Planning

A leading Property consultancy, Macdonald & Company, is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their Birmingham team.

The successful candidate will work closely with major housebuilders, developers, and investors, maintaining strong relationships and contributing to the company's reputation for delivering successful consents across the UK.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing complex planning applications for a range of schemes and developments.
  2. Collaborating with local authorities and major stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  3. Identifying new business opportunities through professional networks.
  4. Pursuing new instructions and expanding the company's client base.

With a proven track record in delivering successful consents, the ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the UK Planning system and be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

Strong communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings and present to clients, are essential for this role.
