About Jamesadamsgroup:

Our company is seeking a highly skilled FinOps Engineer to join our team, offering a unique opportunity for an individual with expertise in both financial operations (FinOps) and development operations (DevOps). The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving financial efficiency and operational excellence within the organisation and work with the existing FinOps team of Engineers and Architects.

  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud or FinOps
  • Proficiency in Cloud (AWS/Azure or GCP)
  • Experience with cloud tools
  • Some scripting or programming skills in languages such as NodeJS, Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java or C#

Key Responsibilities:

The FinOps Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing cloud-based financial systems and processes
  • Developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and operational excellence
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to the FinOps team

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of up to £55,000 - £60,000 with some flexibility for exceptional candidates. A hybrid working environment, with the expectation to be in the office once a week.
