Job Title: Barbering Tutor

Location: Centre based

Salary: up to £35,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Barbering Tutor to join our team at KM Education Recruitment Ltd. As a Barbering Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to learners in a centre-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver NCFE Barbering Levels 2 and 3 to groups of learners.
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans that address the training needs of the group, including basic literacy, numeracy, employability, and barriers to employment.
• Assess and provide feedback to learners on their progress.
• Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Hold a teaching qualification, such as PTLLS or AET.
• Hold a NVQ Level 3 in Barbering (standalone).
• Hold Maths and English Functional Skills level 2 / GCSE equivalents.
• Demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and train clients.
• Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrate confidence, tenacity, and ability to work on own initiative.
