Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Civils construction for a national Datacentre deployment, managing build activities on Fibre Exchanges, including greenfield and warehouse telecom sites. This will involve installing concrete bases, telecom chambers, fibre ducting, external fencing, and general groundworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contractors and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend and chair installation pre-start meetings with designers, contractors, and safety specialists
  • Provide written weekly updates for all sites in progress
  • Undertake quality audit checks on each in-progress site
Requirements
  • CSCS Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards including Construction Design Management Regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Knowledge of applicable construction standards and legislation
