Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Building Services team at Lyreco in Telford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation and maintenance of all equipment in our Warehouse and Offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, install, and commission equipment as required
  • Contribute to maximizing site efficiency by minimizing equipment downtime
  • Undertake maintenance work associated with building services as needed
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds or equivalent in electro/mechanical engineering
  • Recent demonstrable multi-skilled industry experience of electro/mechanical equipment (with a higher focus on electrical)
  • Strong fault-finding experience over electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated software-controlled equipment (Hydraulics being a bonus)
  • Working knowledge/experience of Logistics equipment (i.e.: Automated conveyor systems and packaging equipment including AC motors and inverters)
  • Working knowledge/experience of Automated and PLC equipment (SIEMENS S7 knowledge/experience being a bonus)
  • Qualification/working experience on Electrical installations (Distribution Boards, 3 phase and single-phase power supplies)
  • Ability to work shifts
  • Ability to undertake manual handling and physical activities
