About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at PBR Executive Search Limited. As a key member of our audit and assurance team, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit fieldwork for a portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage audit fieldwork for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
    • Develop and implement audit plans, identifying key risks and areas of focus.
    • Manage and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
    • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to clients, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise advice and guidance.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Stay up-to-date with technical matters, including UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified, with a good level of experience working within an audit and assurance team.
    • Strong knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior team members.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key risks and areas of focus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
