About the Role

Avant Recruit is proud to be partnering with a leading market player in the Motor Industry to find a skilled MOT Tester. This is a permanent position with excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough MOT tests on vehicles to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate test results with the workshop and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication.
  • Communicate any additional work required as a result of the MOT test to the relevant teams.
  • Implement quality control and checks throughout inspections to maintain high standards.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, such as IMI, City & Guilds, or similar.
  • Be in possession of a valid MOT license.
  • Have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Be a team player, willing to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Be willing to work on Saturdays on a rotational basis.
