Our client, a renowned provider of business and tax advice, is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent. With over 80 years of industry experience and a commitment to innovation, they deliver tailored solutions to a diverse range of clients, from start-ups to established businesses.
As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in advisory and compliance projects, reviewing and completing tax returns for a varied client portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee personal tax returns, supporting junior staff with technical queries.
- Completion of complex tax returns.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Requirements:- Qualified ATT, ACA/ACCA, or CTA (desirable).
- Proven experience managing a diverse client portfolio in an accounting practice.
- In-depth knowledge of tax legislation.
- Strong technical expertise in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships.
- Sound tax advisory knowledge. Owner managed businesses and families covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues.
- Proficiency in addressing complex tax issues.
