Job Title: Inspection Manager

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Inspection Manager to join their team. As a specialist contractor based in South Wales, our client delivers customized solutions for the modern engineering landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor inspection teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to support business growth and development.
  • Conduct site visits and quotations, liaising with clients to meet their needs.
  • Manage a team of structural inspectors and surveyors to plan resources and meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Prepare cost proposals, tenders, and key documentation.
  • Inspect various structures, including culverts, bridges, and retaining walls.
  • Appoint and manage specialist sub-contractors.
  • Prepare and review written reports, BCI pro-formas, CAD drawings, and schedules of defects.
Requirements:
  • Degree-educated in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a relevant transferable degree.
  • Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.
  • Broad experience in planning and conducting detailed structural inspections.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using IT, especially MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work outdoors, including in waterways and confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working within confined spaces and competent swimmer.
  • Full UK driver's license and willingness to travel for work.
