As a Lifecycle Management Architect, you will spearhead the planning activities for the Desktop service managed by Sopra Steria. A primary focus of this position will be to uphold a comprehensive set of Desktop Roadmaps, ensuring their alignment with the strategic objectives set forth by the Authority.
You will cultivate essential relationships with the technical leadership community, including Infrastructure Engineering Technical Directors, the IT Services Innovation Lead, and various System Design Authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee deliverables for the Lifecycle Management Service, ensuring compliance with SLA/KPIs.
  • Conduct option analyses for proposed modifications prompted by lifecycle changes.
  • Identify obsolescence issues and manage radar activities.
  • Engage in horizon scanning for potential changes and communicate findings through approved channels.
  • Ensure the Lifecycle Management Service aligns with the strategic direction outlined by the Authority.
  • Represent the Supplier in technical discussions alongside Authority technical leadership and other technology providers as necessary.
  • Participate in and contribute to Client Board meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with IEC 62402:2019 standards.
  • Experience in lifecycle management of hardware and software products within a complex enterprise framework.
  • Background as a Solution Architect.
  • Proficiency in roadmap development and ongoing management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of on-premise technologies.
  • User-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders.
  • Awareness of MOD policies and industry best practices for safeguarding secure environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with STANG4597Eed02.
