Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure clients' tax obligations are met by preparing and submitting tax returns and computations.
- Final Adjustments: Make final adjustments to financial statements and tax returns as required by clients.
- Submission of Financials: Submit approved financial statements and tax returns to clients in a timely manner.
- Mentoring & Development: Provide coaching and training to junior accountants to help them develop their skills and expertise.
- Management Accounts: Prepare and present management accounts to clients, providing insightful commentary and recommendations.
- Review Work: Review working papers prepared by junior accountants to ensure quality and compliance.
- Qualifications: Fully or part-qualified with ACCA or ACA.
- Skills: Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior accounting role, with a strong understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
- Desirable: Previous experience using CaseWare would be an advantage.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, based on experience.
