About the Team and Role
Our team, Beet, is responsible for managing Ocado's data monetization efforts with our suppliers. Launched in 2020, Beet serves as our retail data platform, utilized by numerous suppliers to enhance their understanding of e-commerce customer behavior. This platform is a significant and profitable segment of our business.

We are seeking a driven and accomplished sales professional with a track record in:
  • Acquiring new business and negotiating within B2B environments
  • A robust technical foundation in data, insights, and analytics
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to expand and develop Beet Insight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure new business agreements by comprehending supplier needs and customizing sales strategies to enhance conversion rates.
  • Deepen knowledge of Ocado's data offerings to advise suppliers on optimal package selections.
  • Maintain existing client relationships while identifying new business prospects.
  • Provide precise sales forecasts, establish targets, and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Build and nurture relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Encourage a competitive yet cooperative team atmosphere.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience in retail or consumer-focused FMCG sectors is preferred.
  • Results-driven with a proven record in B2B sales and the ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Strong business acumen, stakeholder management skills, and budget oversight capabilities.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interactions and internal collaboration.
