Job Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and ambitious professional to lead our Lettings Department and drive business growth.
About the Role:
- Oversee the expansion of the Lettings Department and maintain the company's standing as a market leader.
- Build and expand the Lettings business, identifying future opportunities for growth.
- Develop and evolve the Business Plans for Lettings, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Represent the office at head of departments meetings, promoting internal relations and collaboration.
- Meet with Lettings staff members, conducting monthly Business Review meetings and providing coaching as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant Housing legislation, National issues, and attend appropriate training to ensure compliance.
- Produce and regularly update literature relevant to the Lettings Department, ensuring consistency with the corporate code.
- Conduct Lettings Staff annual appraisals, recruit new staff as necessary, and arrange training and development programs.
- Deal with staff grievance issues, maintain sickness records, and ensure awareness of Health and Safety issues.
- Be aware of all relevant Company policies affecting the Department and the office as a whole.
Requirements:
- Proven responsibility for strategic growth of teams, via recruitment and organic growth.
- Proven ability to develop skills and enable personal and professional growth of individuals.
- Able to delegate effectively for maximum results.
- A motivator, able to create successful team working and individual performance and engagement.
- Experience of successful conflict management and performance management.
- Ideally ARLA qualified.
