About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our team at AK Logistics ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 1 HGV vehicle safely and efficiently from depot to depot, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that all goods are delivered in good condition and on time, meeting the high standards of our company.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to achieve our operational goals.
  • Participate in regular vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure that our fleet is always in good working order.
  • Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, driver hours, and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
  • Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation
  • Right to work in the UK
  • English language skills for safety
  • Willing to undergo a Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test
