SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEN school in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-respected educational community.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Develop strong relationships with students, staff, and families through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Provide patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting students through emotional and behavioural challenges.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, following individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Contribute to the academic and personal development of SEN students.
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above) is preferred but not essential.
- A genuine passion for supporting SEN students and contributing to their academic and personal development.
This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
