Staff Nurse Outpatients Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Outpatients Department and Preoperative Assessment service at our Private Hospital in Canterbury.

The ideal candidate will have a patient-focused approach and experience in a surgical/medical environment with a knowledge and understanding of surgical/medical procedures.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage and work within a varied caseload in OPD services, contributing to the maintenance of patient care standards and assisting with the implementation of changes to care delivery systems, methods, and nursing practice.

The post holder will be expected to work across all areas of Spencer Private hospitals within their role remit, providing professional leadership, advice, and guidance within the team, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and custody of medicines in line with Spencer Private Hospitals (SPH) policy and professional standards.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £15.26 to £18.57, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

This is a part-time, annualised hours contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and work within a varied caseload in OPD services
  • Contribute to the maintenance of patient care standards
  • Assist with the implementation of changes to care delivery systems, methods, and nursing practice

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in surgical/medical/OPD environment with a knowledge and understanding of surgical/medical/OPD procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Working Arrangements

This is a part-time, annualised hours contract.

The successful candidate will be expected to work across all areas of Spencer Private hospitals within their role remit.
