We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a refurbishment scheme in Thurrock. This will involve supervising and managing subcontractors, ensuring that works are completed safely and efficiently within stated timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient completion of works
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of the programme, including progress meetings and inspections
  • Oversee the management of sub-contractors, including Assistant Site Managers, RLOs, and in-house labour
  • Set up and maintain Health and Safety documentation, including RAMS and Construction Phase Plans
  • Hold relevant qualifications, including SMSTS, Scaffold Inspection Certificate, First Aid, CSCS Card, and Asbestos Awareness

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in leading sites teams and managing subcontractors
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining Health and Safety documentation
