Our UK division is seeking a new team member for the role of Structural Anchorage Specialist to assist with various activities related to high-profile projects.

This role will be a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

The Structural Anchorage Specialist is responsible for overseeing the civil engineering aspects of building projects, particularly on the nuclear island, and will propose effective technical solutions.

Key activities include:

  • Conducting calculations, qualifications, monitoring, and verification of anchorage systems.
  • Receiving, analyzing, and validating input data for consistency.
  • Producing deliverables such as assumption notes, technical specifications, and calculation reports.
  • Coordinating with CAD Designers alongside the Design Office Manager.
  • Executing design tasks for concrete fastening systems.
  • Performing technical reviews of civil engineering documentation.
  • Creating and maintaining the Design Risk Register.
  • Overseeing all anchorage design activities.
Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering.
  • Experience in steelwork engineering design, particularly in the design and detailing of industrial anchorage systems.
  • Familiarity with the nuclear sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Eurocodes relevant to anchorage engineering.
  • Expertise in the design and detailing of anchorage structures.
  • Understanding of applicable Health and Safety regulations.
