Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in deploying and managing validator nodes across diverse blockchain networks. This includes a comprehensive understanding of the necessary hardware and software infrastructure, security protocols, resource allocation, and engagement with the validator community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective processes for the deployment and management of validator nodes.
  • Oversee the infrastructure from a DevOps perspective, including monitoring, logging, reporting, and alerting systems.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in deploying and managing validator nodes.
  • Familiarity with deploying and testing production software, particularly blockchain nodes.
  • Strong grasp of consensus algorithms and their implications.
  • In-depth knowledge of the effects of protocol changes, such as forks.
  • Proficient in AWS deployment; knowledge of GCP and Azure is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of production-level environments and associated concepts, including monitoring, platform knowledge, and containerization.
  • Experience with blockchain infrastructure in either a professional or personal capacity, including but not limited to Cosmos, Ethereum/EVM chains, Bitcoin, and Solana.
