About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Control Specialist to join our team at Clearfield Ltd. As a Building Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that buildings and structures are designed and constructed in accordance with relevant building regulations and codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and codes
  • Review and approve building plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to building regulations and codes

Requirements:

  • Class 2 Registered Building Inspector qualification
  • Experience in building control or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and codes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
