Company Overview:
Reed Property & Construction is seeking to fill two positions for Mechanical Team Leaders. Our organization specializes in the management and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities.

Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee and guide site-based personnel in their daily operations to ensure the successful completion of projects as outlined by clients.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and supervise the Projects team and any subcontractors to guarantee that tasks are completed to specified standards, within the agreed timeframe and budget.
2. Collaborate proactively with Project Engineers to prioritize work activities.
3. Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
4. Manage day-to-day operations of the Projects team, including overseeing holidays, training, performance evaluations, and timesheet management.
5. Strive for high productivity levels on-site through effective planning of labor, equipment, and materials.
6. Develop necessary Risk Assessments and Method Statements, ensuring appropriate revisions and reviews are conducted before and after job completion.
7. Work alongside the Planning Engineer and Site Manager to ensure that sufficient and achievable work fronts are consistently available.
8. Mentor and coach team members, managing performance across a diverse group of individuals.

Qualifications:
- Relevant Mechanical Certifications
- CSCS Card
- Background in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Familiarity with MS Project or P6 Primavera planning software is advantageous
- Understanding of NEC contract forms is preferred
- Proficient IT skills, including knowledge of Excel and Word
- Experience in the Water/Wastewater sector is beneficial but not mandatory
- Valid UK Driving License

In this role, you will be expected to train to Approved Person (AP) level concerning Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and Isolation Safety Rules (ISR) as applicable.
