Position Overview

We are seeking an Operations Manager (Heart Building) to join our enthusiastic and committed team at our client's site in Welwyn Garden City.

The ideal candidate will be a versatile professional capable of stepping into various roles during peak times or emergencies, demonstrating strong communication and customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, the Operations Manager will oversee the seamless operation of all service lines for the Heart Building, which includes:

1. Daily management of on-site personnel.
2. Ensuring the effective delivery of cleaning, goods-in, catering, and events services according to established specifications and budgetary guidelines.
3. Building and maintaining positive client relationships.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Completion of Daily Management Control Document.
2. Conducting daily multi-service huddles.
3. Monitoring marketing and promotional activities on a daily basis.
4. Performing cleaning quality control checks in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).
5. Participating in monthly joint audits with relevant stakeholders for all service lines.
6. Facilitating site training in line with the agreed training matrix for each service line.
7. Managing staffing levels in accordance with the cost model, ensuring trained cover is consistently available.
8. Upholding site processes and procedures across all service lines.
9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
10. Ordering consumables and chemicals within budget constraints.
11. Guaranteeing timely completion of periodic tasks to agreed standards.
12. Overseeing the management of events hosted within the building, accommodating up to 380 attendees.
13. Managing the Heart Inbox to ensure all events are booked and effectively communicated with organizers.
14. Conducting daily catering check audits.
15. Submitting cleaning and catering payroll accurately and on time.
