Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the largest wholly UK-owned fleet engaged in the UK's offshore industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems on our fleet of ships
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our vessels
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement improvements to our maintenance processes

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in ship maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £41,500, plus extensive overtime and an OTE of £50,000 to £52,000. You will also receive 33 days' holiday, a pension, and the opportunity to work in a shore-based workshop in Aberdeen.
