A1 Personnel Employment Agency Ltd is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician - Fuels Specialist for a permanent contract on behalf of our client, a leading fuels supplier.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and report analysis on fuel, components, pilots, and water samples, adhering to industry-standardized test methods and in-house protocols.
• Prepare and blend a wide range of laboratory fuel blends and additive solutions, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Support the development and maintenance of the Laboratory Quality Management System.
• Calibrate and standardize laboratory equipment, ensuring alignment with the Laboratory Quality Management System.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge, effective communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Interest in improving Quality Systems and contributing to a culture of excellence.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• HSE-focused approach to work.
• Possession of a Degree in Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
• Desirable experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Familiarity with fuels laboratory tests and procedures.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
