Job Purpose

As a key member of our Technology Risk Assurance team, you will play a crucial role in managing our client portfolio, working closely with Partners and Directors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of assignments at client sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of assignments, including Internal Audit support, External Audit support, and IT Advisory, to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Manage and control the TRA team's and individuals' work to ensure effective delivery of TRA services.
  • Oversee the agreed client portfolio for the regional area, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Perform complex Cyber Security TRA assignments, providing expert solutions to clients.
  • Represent the Firm in TRA matters, including attendance at client meetings and audit committees.
  • Develop and present proposals, tenders, and business development opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, identifying and acting upon potential additional work opportunities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in IT Audit and/or Cyber Risk Management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a specialist field, such as Cyber Risk Strategy.
  • Effective use of IT, including Excel, audit, and accounts packages, and Outlook.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of internal audit processes and relevant sector issues.
  • Valid driving license and access to a car for national travel (not applicable for London Farringdon positions).

Desirable Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant subject, such as Information Systems.
  • Relevant SOX experience.
  • Ability to take responsibility for work tasks and quality, managing own workload and deadlines under supervision.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to undertaking tasks, with a focus on seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and stay away from home when required (less than 30% of the time).
  • Confident and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Active listening skills and timely action where appropriate.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to organize and manage time efficiently and effectively, while being flexible.
  • Consideration of development of specialist areas of knowledge.
  • Able to work autonomously and proactively.
