About the Role:

The Audit Senior position is a significant role within the firm, offering the opportunity to work with a varied client base and to be part of a dynamic and highly professional team. The ideal candidate will be someone with a passion for audit and a drive to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing audits for a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Preparing and reviewing audit planning and work, utilizing technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
  • Ensuring audit files have all relevant documentation on the appropriate section, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the audit team, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Liaising with clients to understand their business and to manage expectations, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Continuously updating knowledge of audit regulations and best practices, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with significant experience in audit within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively within a team.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office suite, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
