McGregor Boyall is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a newly established position within a leading organization.

This role will operate in a hybrid capacity, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office.

The successful candidate will ideally be seeking a career advancement into a mid-level Category Procurement Specialist role. A strong background in areas such as Facilities Management, Real Estate, Outsourcing, and Professional Services is essential. Experience with contracts related to catering and security services will be particularly beneficial as these contracts are approaching renewal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in overseeing the complete procurement cycle, which includes sourcing, selection, and onboarding of new vendors.
  • Assist in formulating and executing procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and drive favorable results.
  • Engage actively in negotiating contract terms and financial agreements with vendors.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and service level agreements.
  • Aid business stakeholders in budget creation and management, providing analytical support, ensuring budget compliance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with relevant business units to understand their procurement requirements and deliver effective support.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a proven track record of analyzing expenditure data, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the capability to negotiate successfully with suppliers and achieve consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with TUPE regulations and their impact on procurement and outsourcing decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating contract renewals in Facilities Management, Professional Services, or Outsourcing; knowledge of Real Estate and catering will be a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to work in the office two days per week.
  • Open to candidates who are either available immediately or have notice periods of up to 12 weeks.
  • Comfortable working within a Financial Services Investment environment that offers a highly sought-after benefits package, regular salary reviews, and attractive bonus incentives.
