We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with their personal hygiene care, ensuring their dignity and respect are maintained at all times.
  • Recognize and understand clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and infections, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
  • Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their individuality and autonomy.
  • Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. While experience is not required, we offer a thorough induction and training program to ensure your confidence in the role.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Initiative and respect towards residents and other team members.
  • Efficient work habits and ability to carry out instructions from other team members.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
