Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front of house reception duties, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for our customers and visitors.
  • Develop and lead innovative and varied individual and group activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Evaluate and promote activities to customers, empowering them to make informed choices and achieve their goals.
  • Assist and encourage customers to access and maintain a level of integration into the wider community, fostering independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with other staff to maintain a clean and comfortable environment, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
Requirements
  • Experience of developing and leading customer involvement activities, with a focus on community engagement and social interaction.
  • Previous experience working with a similar customer group is desirable, with a strong understanding of their needs and preferences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • NVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Literacy and numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C English and Maths, with a strong foundation in communication and numeracy skills.
