Job Title: Nuclear Safety Case Developer

Location: Barrow-in-Furness

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Case Developer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Nuclear Safety Case Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective safety cases for our nuclear sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain safety cases for nuclear sites
  • Provide authoritative guidance on safety case development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety case compliance
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Develop and deliver training packages on nuclear safety methodologies

Requirements:

  • Degree in a STEM subject (or equivalent experience)
  • Extensive knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and guidelines
  • Experience in safety case development and maintenance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
