MacGregor Black is collaborating with a Reputable Food Production Company in search of a Quality Assurance Manager. This role is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance the Quality Management System and HACCP documentation while leading the Quality Assurance team, focusing on performance, development, and team cohesion.
- Perform internal audits, ensuring that corrective measures are enacted to uphold high standards.
- Evaluate data from Quality Assurance operations, addressing non-conformities with effective resolutions.
- Ensure that all product, packaging, and ingredient specifications are up-to-date and align with customer expectations.
- Supervise and assess production processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Provide technical assistance to clients regarding supplier assessments.
- Work in conjunction with New Product Development and Commercial teams during product and factory trials.
- Engage in customer and external audits, representing the facility as necessary.
What are we looking for?
- A degree in food science or a recognized Level 3 qualification in Food Safety or equivalent, along with HACCP certification for Food Manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams within a dynamic food production environment.
- Familiarity with auditing systems and processes in accordance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in problem-solving and change management.
- Self-driven with the capability to work autonomously, showcasing initiative.
