Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Coventry. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and maintaining high production standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and fix electrical and mechanical issues on machines.
  • Review electrical drawings and perform fault finding.
  • Work on preventative maintenance and update older machines.
  • Engage with the team on the shop floor to ensure seamless operations.
  • Take responsibility of ensuring standards and safety are maintained.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in maintenance / manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical engineering background, ideally with an electrical bias.
  • CNC machine and machine tool experience, ideally with Mazak equipment.
  • Ability to read machine drawings and manuals (mechanical and electrical).
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
