Family Medicine Practitioner

We are seeking a part-time General Practitioner to join our team at Horsman's Place Surgery in Dartford, Kent. As a GP, you will be responsible for providing primary medical services to our registered patients, ensuring the highest standards of care in line with national primary care contractual regulations and guidelines.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care through surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and E-Consults.
- Triaging, checking, and authorising repeat prescriptions, as well as dealing with patient queries, test results, and medical reports.
- Offer health promotion and advice, signposting patients to appropriate services to maximise their health and social functioning.
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting patients, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers.
- Assess the health needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Currently on the performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register.
- Subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, requiring a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
